Greetings:
We trust you are adapting to mud season. Thank you for your continued patronage. Our business has continued to prosper because of you, our valued friends and customers.
NEWS
Our winter survey was very informative. Thank you to all who took the time to respond. One common theme is the need for more communication with our customers. We are looking at ways to do this. Our website www.unionfarmequip.com is the most logical place to start. This is the first edition of our website newsletter. We have First Time Buyer Hints on the web, and we are planning to have a Tip of the Week.
We have strived to have a good selection of products at competitive prices with an excellent parts and service team to back them up. We have over 100 tractors in stock. There are over 2 million dollars worth of tractors and implements set up and ready to go. Delivery is available on most items. Please feel free to come in and browse our yard.
No matter how well prepared we are, spring is always hectic. To help keep things rolling along, no pun intended, we have hired Andy Baker, a long time customer and farmer, to help make deliveries three days each week. If there is something you are going to need please give us a call. We will be happy to arrange delivery
KUBOTA
The biggest news of the year is Kubota's 30th Anniversary Sale. In honor of their 30th Anniversary, Kubota is offering rebates up to $2,000.00 on many of their tractors. This is a factory rebate, which is for the customer at the time of purchase. Please look at our link to kubota.com for more details or just give us a call.
We are well stocked this year. Kubota's container program has allowed us to have tractors set up ahead of time. Instead of receiving tractors in the spring and scrambling to assemble them, we were able to get our tractors assembled during the winter. The implement manufacturers have also done a fine job of supplying us ahead of time. We hope this will alleviate some of the difficulties we encountered last year.
NEW HOLLAND
The TC30 is New Holland's entry into the economy compact tractor market. This is a 30 hp tractor with either a 9X3 or a hydrostatic transmission. This is the first economy tractor with a flat deck. New Holland is offering low rate financing on all their compact tractors from 0% for 12 months to 7.50% for 84 months.
IMLEMENTS
Union Farm Equipment, Inc. has one of the largest selections of implements in the state and we discount the implements to help you save. We are running pre-season specials on our grooming mowers and rotary cutters. Please check our specials page for more details. We are well stocked with most common implements. Rakes, rototillers, blades, rotary cutters, backhoes and more are in stock and ready to go.
LAWN AND GARDEN
Toro lawn mowers and tractors have arrived and are ready to mow. Echo's split boom continues to be successful. This innovative product allows one engine to run ten different attachments.
WALKER
Walker continues to lead the industry in compact out-front mowers. The Grass Handling System is ideal for collecting leaves in the fall and heavy grass in the spring. This mower is designed to provide the best possible cut. It is lightweight, agile and able to reduce mowing time by 25% or more. Please stop by for a test drive.
PARTS AND SERVICE
To better serve you we have hired Don Kennedy as a Field Service Technician. He is well versed in repairs and maintenance on Kubota and New Holland Tractors. He will be on the road 5 days each week. We have purchased a van for his use so that we can do more service and maintenance at your home or job site. Our intention is to minimize down time for our customers. Having Don well equipped will enable us to make many repairs on our first visit rather than towing tractors back to the shop for minor service.
Our Parts Department is stocking 30 and 55-gallon drums of oil. If you are performing your own maintenance, purchasing oil in bulk can result in substantial savings. 30-gallon drums of 15-W40 are $123.98. This is only $1.03 per quart. We accept used motor oil purchased from us for safe disposal.
