We are gearing up for the fairs. Union Fair starts on August 18th and Windsor starts on August 25th. Blue Hill Fair runs over Labor Day Weekend. If there is something you need us to bring to the fairs for you please let us know.

In years past we have hosted a generator clinic. This clinic featured speakers from Central Maine Power, Honda and a local electrician. We are considering a clinic for this fall. If you would be interested in attending a generator clinic this fall please contact us.

HONDA

We just received our 2002 Snowblowers. If the previous years are any indication, we recommend you shop early for the best selection.

Honda Snowblowers and Generators are eligible for No Payment and No Interest for 12 months. This program is good from August 1, 2002 until November 30, 2002. We have a full line up of snowblowers in stock and ready to go with a two-year warranty. As always our generators are set up, full of fuel, fully tested and ready to work. This is a great opportunity to prepare before Mother Nature brings back winter weather.

KUBOTA

If you have not seen the Kubota BX22, please stop by for a demonstration. This is the hottest new product since the introduction of the BX series. The BX22 is the perfect answer for the homeowner who needs a tractor loader backhoe. This unit has a 6' backhoe, which is perfect for small excavation and planting landscaping. In addition this unit has a 3 point hitch and the ability to run a mid mount mower, front snowblower, front sweeper, and front blade. This is truly one machine that can do it all.

In addition we have finally received a good supply of Kubota's newest excavators, the KX91-3 and the KX121-3. These machines are smoother, quieter and more powerful then their predecessors. Best of all, the KX121-3 is priced less than its predecessor.

ECHO

Echo continues to lead the industry. They are introducing new cleaner burning engines to stay ahead of the emissions requirements. They introduced the PB-650 power blower last year. This is the largest backpack blower available. This year the PPT260 Power Pruner is cleaner burning, and more powerful than its predecessor and the price is unchanged.

The most popular homeowner model is the SRM2110, which is a 21 cc string trimmer and brush cutter. This unit is perfect for clearing small trees and brush and serves double duty by trimming the grass. This trimmer comes with a blade, string head, bicycle handle and a shoulder strap for only $299.99.

IMPLEMENTS

We have a number of left over implements available at special pricing. If you have yet to check our special sheet, please do so. We have a Land Pride At2560 grooming mower for only $1,299.00 and a Sitrex SM150L finish mower for only $1,049.00.

Snowblowers by Woods and Ber-Vac are coming soon. Putting a 3 point hitch snowblower on your tractor will give you true four season versatility and save you money.

PARTS

Mark Buck, Assistant Manager, is now devoting much of his efforts to the Parts Department. Mark, as many of you know, has an extensive background in Ford tractors and New Holland hay equipment.

Fall is rapidly approaching. Now is the time to get your equipment ready for winter. Oil is the lifeblood of your machinery. A tractor engine works 50-70% harder than an automobile engine. Be sure to use the proper oils to do the job. We have recently received a truckload of heavy duty New Holland Oil. 15W-40 engine oil is on special in 30-gallon drums (only $123.98, which is $1.03 per quart). We also have a full line of lube accessories, grease guns, funnels, barrel pumps, etc.

With winter on the horizon now is the time to check your battery. We have a full line of off-road batteries designed for tractors. These batteries are vibration isolated with extra heavy casings. Remember its what's inside the battery that counts.
