Fall, 2003

Greetings:

Thank your for your continued patronage. It is because of you, our customers and friends, that we have had a great year so far.

We can only hope that the second half of the year is as good as the first. Tractors continue to be in short supply, but many other product lines are in good supply. This year has been stronger than most anticipated. Right now we are busy with the Fairs and we are seeing a lot of interest. It appears that the economy will only continue to improve and we will continue to prosper.

There are some interesting predictions for this winter: plenty of snow and $2.00 per gallon heating oil. We can help overcome these predictions. We are well stocked with snowblowers, chain saws, log winches and woodsplitters.

GENERATORS

The recent blackout south of here has started people thinking about generators again. We will be hosting a generator clinic on Saturday, September 20 at 1:00 P.M. We will have representatives from Honda and CMP on hand to answer all of you questions concerning safe generator operation, installation and maintenance. Please be sure to mark your calendar and don't miss this event.

In addition to the generator clinic there are two important promotions right now. We are still offering our 2 cents worth promotion (save 2 cents per watt on all generators 3500 watts and larger). Honda has announced that they will offer 12 months no interest and no payments on generators and snowblowers. There has not been a better time to purchase a new generator.

TORO

We are overstocked on several commercial mowers and lawn tractors. While they last, we are offering year end pricing on these select machines.

Toro has completely redesigned their two-stage snowblowers. The new "Power Max" auger is designed to handle the toughest snow conditions and minimize clogging. The "Quick Stick" chute control dramatically improve chute rotation and deflector positioning. All of these machines feature electric start engines for reliable cold weather performance. Best of all the Toro snowblowers start under $1,000.00. Stop by and see what all the talk is about.

MAMMOTH

We have been stocking log arches from Mammoth Wood Products. If you have not seen this product stop by. This product allows you to safely skid one or more logs at a time behind a tractor with a three point hitch without the expense of a forestry winch. The latest version also can be converted to a trailer hitch or a bale spear. You can visit their website for more information at www.mammothwoodproducts.com

YERF DOG

Yerf Dog produces the Scout utility vehicle. This is a 10 hp two wheel drive vehicle with a dump body. We think that this vehicle is an excellent value at $4,750.00. The Scout fits in nicely between the remanufactured Golf Cars and the PUG cargo all terrain vehicles. Please stop by for a test drive.

HONDA SNOWBLOWERS

We are well stocked with 7, 9 and 11 hp Honda snowblowers. All Honda snowblowers are hydrostatic drive so the operator can change speed and direction without stopping. All three sizes are available with track drive which improves traction and allows the auger to ride above the ground for gravel drives or be locked down to scrape pavement clean. The track drive also eliminates the auger climbing up a snowbank. The 7 and 9 hp units are available with wheels if you prefer. The 9 and 11 hp units have electric start. All of these units are backed by a two year warranty and qualify for 12 months no interest no payments. If you are planning to purchase a snowblower we recommend shopping early while the selection is good.

TIMBERWOLF WOODSPLITTERS

Timberwolf builds some of the finest woodsplitters available today. These units feature fast cycle times and Honda engines. In addition to their horizontal models, they offer a horizontal / vertical splitter and a 3 point hitch model to run on a tractor. Whether you need to split this year's wood or get ready for next year, we have splitters in stock ready to work.

PARTS

The parts department has been busy shopping for better values. We have more economically priced tire chains coming soon to fit most popular sizes of tractor tires. We have found a new source of restoration parts which are priced competitively and are more accurate than some of the parts we had previously.

SERVICE

Now is the time to get your equipment ready for winter. The snowblower and generator were put away last spring and most people have not given them another thought. Before you need to use the equipment we recommend getting them out running them, changing oil and adding fresh gasoline. If you need help commissioning your equipment give Wendell a call and set up an appointment before winter sets in and the motor won't start.

Now is the time to change fluids on your hard working tractor. All summer the tractor has worked in the heat and dirt. Clean fluids are the life blood of any machine. If you have not yet changed your fluids give Wendell a call and schedule a visit from our mobile service van.

NEW HOLLAND

New Holland is offering no money down, 0.00% financing for 36 months and 2.9% financing for 60 month, to qualified buyers, through September on TC tractors. We have specials on New Holland Tractors. Please stop by to find out why your next tractor should be "blue".

Please stop by soon to see "The Friendly Folks".
