FALL CLEANUP

We are well stocked with leaf blowers, truck loaders and vacuums from Billy Goat and Echo. We have handheld, backpack and wheeled blowers to get the leaves piled up no matter how large the lawn may be. We have a three point hitch PTO blower for people with a tractor who need a "hurricane on wheels".

GENERATORS

EU series generators are now being allocated to ensure adequate supply to all dealers. We are receiving a shipment each month and we are, currently, keeping up with demand. If you are looking for a special present for someone check out the super quiet compact EU series generators from Honda.

The blackout in New York and the hurricane in the Carolinas have created a lot of interest in generators. At the same time, Honda is out of generators due to the increased demand. Our inventory is sufficient for the immediate future, but it may be several months before Honda is back to normal. Once the lights go out it may be too late to find a generator. We have the 12-month no interest no payment program in effect through November 30. If you have waited to purchase a generator, now would be a good time to take advantage of this program. Don't be left in the dark.

Kubota has a complete line of gas and diesel generators. We just received some GL6500S, 6500-watt diesel generators. If you are in need of long-term power this is an excellent unit. The GL6500S is more efficient than a gas generator and its liquid cooled engine is designed for many years of trouble free service. In addition we have 12.5 kW Kubota diesel generators on the way.

STAND BY POWER

We have added Winco to our line up of quality generators. There have been an increasing number of customers who wish to have an automatic generator; no fuel to fill no engine to start, no switches to throw, just power when ever they need it. After researching the options we chose Winco to meet the demand.

We are stocking a 9.6 kW Honda powered standby generator from Winco. This unit runs on propane, can be equipped with an automatic transfer switch and will test itself regularly to ensure a reliable source of back up power. When the power goes out the automatic transfer switch will automatically start the generator and bring the lights back on and then shut down automatically when the power is restored.

PTO GENERATORS

Winco also offers a complete line of PTO generators. Rather than maintaining a separate engine for the generator, the tractor can provide emergency power for the house. We have offered larger units in the past, but many tractors do not have the horsepower required to run these units. Winco offers a 7000-watt PTO generator that mounts on the three point hitch. As little as 14 PTO horsepower can power this unit, and it is less expensive than a portable generator because the tractor supplies the engine. SNOWBLOWERS

There is still time left to get a great deal on a new snowblower. Why spend another winter shoveling the driveway? Let us show you how easy snow removal can be. We have Toro and Honda walk behind snowblowers in both single stage and two stage. These units are sized to fit most driveways and eliminated the stress of shoveling. As the snow season approaches the supply of snowblowers has decreased. Honda is offering 12 months No Interest, No Payments to approved buyers through the end of November.

If you need more protection while blowing snow our Parts Department has snowblower cabs available for many models. We have headlights for snowblowers to help when the visibility is poor. If you spent last winter struggling to keep the snowblower moving be sure to check out our selection of tire chains.

If you have a tractor already, we have three point hitch snowblowers from Woods and Ber Vac to fit most compact tractors. These units allow you to leave the loader in place and still blow snow. No matter what Mother Nature brings your compact tractor can get the drive cleared with the snowblower and loader. In addition we have front snowblowers to fit many Kubota and New Holland tractors with mid PTO's.

KUBOTA

Kubota has just announced No Down Payment, No Interest, and No Payments Until April 2004 for all T and TG Lawn and Garden Tractors. In addition with 10% down, commercial customers can receive No Interest, No Payment until April 2004. These offers are available to approved buyers through Kubota Credit Corp.

If you have been procrastinating, there is still time left to get a great deal on a Kubota before the snow flies.

Kubota has finished their 2003 dealer meetings. We are very pleased with the new additions to the lineup. There are several new additions to the B-series and the L-series. These units are value oriented and feature rich. We think you will want to see these units next spring. In addition, there will be some great deals on any current models left in inventory.

Kubota has finally entered the Cargo All Terrain Vehicle market with the RTV900. This vehicle features a 3 cylinder, liquid cooled diesel engine; a three range hydrostatic transmission; differential lock front and rear suspension; power steering and wet disk brakes. We do not expect to see these vehicles until early spring, but we think Kubota has done it right.

Kubota has also introduced a new smaller zero radius turn mower. These units are gas powered and provide an option for commercial lawn care professional and homeowners who do not need a large diesel powered mower. If you have been trying to spend less time mowing grass, check out a zero radius mower.

If you are a "do it yourself" person we have the right parts to keep your equipment running smoothly. Whether it is fluids and filters for routine maintenance, or restoration parts for an older tractor, be sure to check with the "Friendly Folks". Of course we still offer free advice.

The holiday season is rapidly approaching. We have a large selection of toy tractors and equipment for big or small kids. We are also well stocked with accessories such as sunshades, radios, and linkage for tractors. We have tire chains, maintenance kits and other accessories to help keep the tractor owner enjoying their time in the seat.

In addition we have a showroom full of accessories for lawn tractors, generators, chain saws, snowblowers and other power equipment. If you have been shopping for that "hard to buy for person" stop by and ask the "Friendly Folks" for ideas.

SERVICE

Now is the time to get your equipment ready for winter. The snowblower and generator were put away last spring and most people have not given them another thought. Before you need to use the equipment we recommend getting them out running them, changing oil and adding fresh gasoline. If you need help commissioning your equipment give Wendell a call and set up an appointment before winter sets in and the motor won't start.

Now is the time to change fluids on your hard working tractor. All summer the tractor has worked in the heat and dirt. Clean fluids are the lifeblood of any machine. If you have not yet changed your fluids give Wendell a call and schedule a visit from our mobile service van.
