Spring 2005
By focusing on the needs of our customers, we have always separated ourselves from our competitors and continually strive to exceed our customer's expectations.
Union Farm Equipment was the first to deliver tractors full of fuel, ready to work. We were the first to include a bucket hook, block heater and rear work light. And, we were the first to stay open all day Saturday. All because we think it improves the purchase experience for you our customers. We did these things because you told us it is what you wanted and we listen. Our newest concept? "Try before you buy".

We can offer "no money down, no interest, and no payments" for 6months on Honda products. New Holland and Kubota are offering low rate financing on their products. Toro has no money down, no payments, and no interest until January 2006. Land Pride is offering financing as low as 0.00% for 12 months on their utility vehicles. All of these plans are for a limited time. Please stop by and ask "The Friendly Folks" for more details.
LANDPRIDE
LandPride will be present with their industry leading utility vehicles. LandPride has three basic models: the Trekker, the Gondo and the Runabout. The Trekker features a 20 hp Honda engine, two or four-wheel drive, and four-wheel independent suspension. The Gondo features a 20 hp Kohler, a 5 speed automotive transmission, best in class payload, and it articulates and oscillates to keep all four wheels on the ground for maximum traction. The Runabout features a 13 hp Honda engine in a two-wheel drive "dune buggy" style. The weight distribution on this machine makes it one of the most capable two-wheel drives we have ever seen. Land Pride has attractive financing options. Be sure to stop by for a test drive. Check out the Landpride web site.
KUBOTA
Kubota continues to offer the only diesel, hydrostatic utility vehicle. This vehicle features power steering, 4 wheel suspension and wet disk brakes. Kubota has taken tractor technology and created a tough reliable utility vehicle. If you have never driven an RTV, now is the perfect opportunity. This vehicle has become extremely popular and will make a great addition to any landowner's equipment.
Kubota also introduced the L4400DT this year. The L4400DT is a basic tractor for people who do not need a lot of frills. The L4400DT is however, loaded with every thing needed to get your chores done: 4-cylinder, 45 hp diesel engine, 8x4 shuttle transmission, live PTO, 4-wheel drive, and a loader for less than $20,000.00.
The GR-series garden tractors are new for 2005. The GR's are available in gas or diesel power and feature four-wheel drive, power steering, and hydraulic deck lift. What separates this tractor from the competition is Glide Steer. Glide Steer is a Kubota innovation that disengages the inner rear wheel during a tight turn and allows the GR-series to turn tighter than was ever thought possible. Check out the Kubota web site.
SALSCO
Salsco continues to offer PTO and engine driven chippers that will handle soft wood. The 824 (4x8") and 826 (6x12") hydraulic feed chippers work extremely well behind most compact tractors. We will have factory reps demonstrating these units during Chip, Split and Drive Day. Whether you are cleaning up after a logging operation or just keeping the woods away from the fields a chipper can reduce tree limbs into useful mulch. Check out the Salsco web site.
TIMBERWOLF
Timberwolf is a premier manufacturer of wood splitters and wood processors. The recent increases in heating oil have caused more and more people to rely on wood to heat their homes. Splitting your own wood is an effective means to further reduce heating costs. Please stop by for some of the best deals of the year and see how easy it is to split your own wood. Check out the Timberwolf web site.
BEARCAT
Bearcat chippers are available in engine driven and PTO driven models. We have a large selection of homeowner and commercial chippers ranging from 3" to 8" capacity. If you have been looking for a way to reduce yard waste or augment your compost pile stop by for a demonstration of the Bearcat chipper shredders. Check out the Bearcat web site.
ECHO
Due to increasingly stringent emissions regulations many companies are trying to produce four-stroke handheld power equipment. These technologies require more moving parts and are often heavier than conventional two-stroke engines. More importantly, these technologies are unproven. Echo has focused on perfecting two-stroke technologies. While many manufactures engines will only pass the 50-hour emissions test, all Echo engines pass a 300-hour test (currently the highest rating available). Whether you are looking for a chain saw, clearing saw, powered pole saw or string trimmer be sure to check out the clean running products offered by Echo. On April 23rd we will be offering a free blade or chain with all clearing saw and chain saw purchases. Check out the Echo web site.
TORO
As one of the nations leading manufactures of turf equipment, Toro continues to lead the industry. Toro has introduced the 400 series commercial mowers this year. The 400's are available in 3 distinct versions to fit every budget. All of these mowers feature a 7 gauge deck for maximum strength and durability. Toro also makes the Timecutter Z series for consumer use. If you would like to save time mowing lawn stop by and try a Toro zero radius turn mower.
Toro has also redesigned the Super Recycler Walk Behind Lawnmowers for 2005. These mowers feature an aluminum deck with side discharge capability and a five (5) year warranty. Some models incorporate the BOS system that allows the blade to stop and the engine to continue running when you release the handle. There are models with standard bags and electric start. Many of the Super Recyclers feature the Personal Pace self propelled system that makes the mower drive at your speed rather than pull you around the lawn. Check out the Toro web site.
NEW HOLLAND
New Holland continues to offer one of the most ergonomic tractor lines. All of the controls are placed for ease of use. The hood and loader are sloped for maximum forward visibility. The operator's platforms are more spacious than the competition for your comfort. If you have yet to drive a New Holland Compact tractor stop by and see how easy they are to drive.
New Holland tractors are not only easy to use; they are easy to purchase. In many cases New Holland offers no money down and 0.00% for 36 months. The TC24 goes one step further with 0.00% for 48 months. Check out the New Holland web site.
