We think winter is slowly creeping in. We have seen the first plowable snow, but the frost has yet to set in. We are trying to cope with less than 9 hours of daylight, but that is the price we pay for those beautiful sixteen-hour days in June. Now, as we are preparing for the holidays, could be the best time for you to take advantage of year-end savings.

SALES
Now is the time to take advantage of our year-end specials. We have our rental fleet and our demo units available for purchase. There are commercial mowers, excavators and tractor loader backhoes available. We have pictures and descriptions of these units on our web site.

Kubota is offering rebates on select models. In December, Kubota is offering an $800.00 rebate on all Grand L-30 tractors with loaders and a $300.00 rebate on B3030's. We have upped the ante on Grand L-30's another $200.00 for a total savings of $1,000.00. To help sweeten the deal, Kubota has 0.00% for 36 months and 7.99% for 96 months. Now may be the best time to save on a new tractor.

SERVICE
Spring is coming, so now is the time to think about getting your equipment ready for warmer temperatures. We are running two specials in January, Winterfix and the Commercial Care Partnership Program. The Winterfix program is a 10% discount on all repairs over $500.00 during January and February. If you have been putting off service now is the time to schedule and save on the repair bill.

Last year the Commercial Care Partnership Program was very successful for both our service department and our customers. This program helps minimize in season failures by identifying and correcting defects before they causing a failure. This program also allowed us to provide participants with a loaner machine when needed. All new commercial mowers are enrolled free of charge for the first season of operation.

The Commercial Care Partnership Program is primarily for our lawn care professionals. For a flat rate we will perform an annual service and inspection. We will then advise of any additional repairs needed. Provided these repairs are completed, we will offer a free loaner machine if we are unable to repair the machine within 24 hours during the next mowing season. Please call our service department for more details or to schedule an appointment.

PARTS
Our Parts department is well stocked with everything to keep your equipment running this winter. We have batteries, jumper cables, fuel conditioner, washer fluid, antifreeze, windshield wipers, tow straps, and jacks in stock to keep you running. We are stocking New Holland (manufactured by Snap On) hand tools in SAE and metric. These tools make an ideal gift for the do-it-yourselfer.

Of course, we have a complete selection of forestry accessories including chokers, sliders, peaveys, replacement winch cable and wedges. We are well stocked with safety apparel including chaps, gloves, helmets, and hearing protectors.

SNOW REMOVAL
Don't let the current warm temperatures fool you. Old Man Winter has just begun his grip on the area. We all well stocked with snowblowers by Honda and Toro. These powerful machines can make short work of snow and help prevent the stress of shoveling snow. Please stop in and talk to "The Friendly Folks" about your snow removal needs.

KUBOTA
Kubota has introduced the new Grand L-40 series compact tractors. These units will be available next spring. To finish out the Grand L-30 series Kubota is offering an $800.00 rebate. We are adding $200.00 so that it is now possible to Save a Grand on a Grand L-30. Life is Grand when these rebates are combined with 0.00% for 36 months or 7.99% for 96 months.

Kubota has also entered the 8-ton class of excavators with the KX080-3. This unit will be available with a cab and your choice of steel or rubber tracks. The KX080-3 has dual hydraulic ports for attachment operation. Auto-shift track motors are standard eliminating the need for the operator to downshift during turns. To make refueling easier Kubota has included a refueling pump, with an automatic shut off, and a hose as standard equipment. To make sure the machine stays where you left it the ignition is now equipped with a programmable key and an alarm if the wrong key is used. Be sure to check out the most advanced machine on the market, the Kubota KX080-3.

Three years ago Kubota entered the Utility Vehicle Market. For 2007 Kubota has introduced a new RTV1100 with factory cab, heat and air conditioning. This unit will be available by midyear. Please stop by for more information.

Kubota has also replaced the venerable B21 with the all-new B26. The B26 features a 1301-pound capacity loader and an 8' curved boom backhoe with 4211 pounds of bucket force. The B26 can be quipped with a factory hydraulic thumb and a front auxiliary hydraulic valve. If you are in the market for a compact tractor loader backhoe please give the B26 a test drive.

NEW HOLLAND
New Holland has introduced a factory cab for the TC40 and the TC45. This cab is worth the wait. The SuperSuite TM cab, at 60.1 cubic feet, is the largest factory cab on a compact tractor, and it fits under an 8' garage. New Holland has added a high visibility panel in the roof to allow the operator to see the loader at full height. There is a full 37o of upward vision. This cab also features the best in class lighting package and the best in class visibility.

If you have not yet seen the New Holland C185 and C195 track loaders, please stop by and test-drive these ultra productive loaders. A track loader provides the maneuverability and lift capacity of a skid steer combined with rubber tracks for flotation and traction.

GENERATORS
Generator sales have been strong this fall. We the midcoast's largest stocking generator dealer. At the time of this writing most models are available, even the hard-to-find EM5000iSAB and EM7000iSAB inverter units. If you plan to purchase a generator the next time the lights go out please remember to get here early before we are sold out.
